Caio Borralho raised doubts about the real reasons for the lack of interest of Paulo borrachinha to face him in the UFC. Recently, the Minas Gerais native revealed on social media that he would not want to share the octagon with the 'Nerd' because he considers his rival IrrelevantHowever, for the people of Maranhão, this justification is nothing more than an excuse.

In a post on 'X', Caio stated that the UFC tried to arrange a fight against Borrachinha in October 2024. However, the Minas Gerais native refused the proposal, claiming the opponent was irrelevant, but ended up accepting to face Roman Koplov, who was lower in the rankings.

Currently, both are experiencing different moments of redemption in their careers. Borrachinha is coming off a victory after a long streak of setbacks, while Borralho suffered his first UFC loss and is now looking to return to winning ways in the Octagon.
