In the same interview, the Uzbek was asked by the reporter if Jones was drinking vodka at the time. Guskov stated that the then-champion drank every drink offered to him.

After months of training (and partying), Bones stepped into the octagon to face the Swede. Despite being the favorite, the American overcame many difficulties to emerge victorious. Besides being knocked down for the first time as an MMA fighter in the first round, Jones absorbed numerous punches, leaving the athlete seriously injured in the face. At the end of the five rounds, he was declared the winner by unanimous decision, in one of the greatest fights in UFC history.
