Polish fighter Mateusz Gamrot , one of the top names in the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), didn't let Charles Oliveira's message about possible replacements for the injured Rafael Fiziev at UFC Rio, scheduled for October 11th, go unanswered. After the Brazilian criticized fighters who allegedly refused offers to face him at home, Gamrot reaffirmed his intention to face the former lightweight champion at the event.
Gamrot, currently ranked eighth in the category, took the opportunity to reinforce that he is in shape and ready to show his skills, especially on the ground, where he excels.
