Protagonists of UFC 322, Jack Della Maddalena e Islam makhachev are topics of debate when it comes to the real favorite for the welterweight title fight (up to 77,1 kg) on November 22. Despite being pointed out by bookmakers as the possible winner of the fight, the Russian does not have unanimous optimism in the MMA community.
Currently fourth in the division reigned by Jack, Ian Machado Garry went against popular opinion and did not rule out that the champion could be responsible for the second knockout suffered in Makhachev's MMA career.

"I wish I was there. I wish I could watch it live, because live is different from TV. Again, stylistically, it's a great fight. Islam is phenomenal in every way and is getting better and better, but so is Jack. And I feel like, because of the size difference, Jack Della wouldn't be able to make 70 pounds, and I truly believe JDM has the opportunity to go in there and knock Islam out," Machado Garry told MMA Knockout.

Despite being interested in being in the front row of the show, Ian seems to understand that he needs one more victory before dreaming of a title fight in his next appearance in the octagon.
“The two people I want to fight right now are Sean brady e Belal Muhammad |They're number one and number two in the world. And a victory over either of them, I believe, cements me as the number one contender and the next contender for the belt, and that's what I want," he concluded.
Heading into his first fight in the UFC's 77-pound division, Makhachev expresses great confidence in winning his second title in the UFC. Despite his feelings, the athlete has already received several warnings from experts about Jack's potential triumph in New York on November 22nd.
