Away from the octagon for over four years, Conor McGregor has spoken on several occasions about his return to competition. More recently, after the UFC announcement at the White House, the Irishman reiterated his interest in facing Michael Chandler. However, it may not be so easy for Dana White and the UFC executives to bring "The Notorious" back for what could be one of the most important nights in the history of the sport.

By far the highest-paid athlete in MMA history, the Irishman stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that in addition to a multi-million dollar purse, he also wants to facilitate the entry of more than 100 people connected to him into the US.
"$100 million to fight at the White House, along with 100 US golden visas for myself, my family, and friends. I'm looking forward to entertaining the fight world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!" said the fighter, who has previously spoken of his desire to become president of Ireland.

A US visa is an official authorization issued by the United States government that allows a foreign citizen to enter the country for specific purposes, such as work or tourism. Amid bureaucratic and sometimes rigid policies, many ordinary people resort to illegality to try their luck in the land of Uncle Sam. To have his wish granted, McGregor would need the support of Donald Trump, the nation's president.
