After withstanding intense pressure from the American in the first 10 minutes, the Czech came out in the final round determined to live up to his favoritism and delivered a performance the former title challenger lacked the energy to sustain. After receiving a blow to the head, Khalil immediately fell and showed no reaction to the attack. The referee, aware of the attack, didn't hesitate and ended the fight, declaring victory to the second-place light heavyweight. Jiri Prochazka. Still in the octagon, the Czech expressed interest in getting closer to the belt that once belonged to him.
