Ian Garry has doubts about whether Leon Edwards should remain active in the UFC. The Briton is coming off two dominant losses and is now scheduled to face Carlos Prates at UFC 322 on November 15th, a fight in which the Irishman has no doubts about who to root for and who will be knocked out.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Ian Garry expressed surprise that Leon Edwards had agreed to fight Carlos Prates , since, according to the Irishman, the former champion should already be retired. However, since the fight is going ahead, he assures that he will be rooting for the Brazilian.
“( Leon Edwards ) should be retired, and maybe we’ll see that. I’m shocked that he accepted [to fight Carlos Prates]. I’ll be waving a Brazilian flag on November 15th, cheering for Carlos Prates and watching him knock out Leon Edwards ,” said Ian Garry.
Although Ian Garry believes this will be the end of Leon Edwards , the Briton has the chance to prove otherwise against Carlos Prates at UFC 322. The former champion defends his fourth place in the welterweight rankings (up to 77 kg) and seeks to recover after dominant losses to Belal Muhammad and Sean Brady.
The Irishman is scheduled to face Belal Muhammad in the co-main event of UFC Qatar, set for November 22nd.
