Ronda Rousey returned to MMA training this year and, incidentally, sparked speculation about a possible return to the octagon. The former Strikeforce and UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) clarified, however, that her return to physical activity is recreational and conditioning-focused, and not an immediate intention to compete professionally.
In an interview on the podcast 'The Breakfast Club', on Thursday (16), Rousey commented on longevity in combat sports. She used the space to cite the example of former boxer Mike Tyson , who returned to the ring at age 58.

“ Mike Tyson returning and having the biggest fight of last year kind of proves that nobody is ever completely finished (with fighting),” said the former champion, amid speculation about a return to the octagon.
At 38 years old, Rousey hasn't competed in MMA since 2016, when she was knocked out by Amanda Nunes in the UFC. After her time in WWE, where she performed until 2023, the fighter gave birth to her second daughter this year.
Despite speculation about her presence at UFC Casa Branca , scheduled for July 2026, she states that returning to training has helped with her post-pregnancy physical recovery.
