O UFC Vancouver provided memorable moments in the octagon and also outside it. At the event held last Saturday (18), in Canada, Paul felder, former fighter and current member of the company's official broadcast team, was visibly shaken when paying tribute to Duke Roufus, renowned MMA coach, who passed away a day earlier (17), at the age of 55.

According to reports, the professional passed away in his sleep. Having been coached by Roufus for much of his career, Felder, emotionally, paid a beautiful tribute to his former mentor and friend. According to the veteran, Duke was a distinguished professional and a special human being.
As expected, Felder expressed his sympathy for the grief of Roufus's family, friends, and fans. Like his teammate, Daniel Cormier He also couldn't hide his sadness at the departure of the renowned coach.
"Duke was an absolute legend, as a coach, a man, and most importantly, as a father. Duke took the guys under his wing and became a father figure to many of us. He was more than just a coach to me; he was more than just a coach to everyone who worked with him. I traveled the world with that man, and yes, he's gone too soon. We love you, Duke," said an emotional Felder.
Great contribution to combat sports
Before becoming a coach, Duke Roufus competed in kickboxing. As a mentor, he trained well-known MMA names such as the Anthony and Sergio Pettis, Ben askren, Paul felder, Tyron woodley, Among others.
