I know he can handle it very well, I’ve seen him improving his weight, he’s getting bigger and bigger, so I think he’s legitimately capable of moving up to heavyweight. So, yeah, it would be crazy if I won this fight (against Tom aspinall) and confront him later,” Gane said in an interview with Brian Campbell.

At 35, Gane is riding a two-fight winning streak. His last loss came in 2023, when he was defeated by Jon Jones in the heavyweight division and ended up being defeated by the North American in just two minutes of fighting.
