Malhadinho gives prediction for Aspinall vs. Gane at UFC 321 and provokes Frenchman: 'I didn't know the day I was going to fight'

Jailton Malhadinho volta à ação no UFC 321. Neste sábado (25), em Abu Dhabi (EAU), o brasileiro mede forças com Alexander Volkov, em duelo de extrema importância no peso pesado (até 120,2 kg). Como o vencedor pode ser o próximo desafiante ao título da categoria, o atleta também estará de olho na luta principal do evento, entre o campeão Tom Aspinall e Ciryl Gane, e tem uma opinião formada a respeito.

In an interview with UFC Brazil, Malhadinho, like any other fan of the sport, gave his prediction for the main event. According to the Brazilian, Aspinall is the favorite not only because he's a high-level and well-rounded fighter, but also because he's hungry for greatness. On the other hand, the Bahia native points out that Gane isn't as committed to MMA as other professionals and, therefore, should come out on top in the duel.

Gane was very distracted, he didn't know what day he was going to fight, when he was going to fight, and so on. Aspinall, wanting to make history, is more determined, more eager to win. I think Aspinall will win this fight," said the UFC top contender.

Win in the crosshairs

Essa não foi a primeira vez que Jailton Malhadinho entrou em atrito com Ciryl Gane. Antes das lutas do UFC 321 serem anunciadas, o brasileiro expressou o interesse em encarar o ex-campeão interino da categoria e, como não obteve resposta, deu a entender que o mesmo correu do seu desafio.
