Currently ranked 11th in the lightweight division and looking to return to winning ways after two consecutive losses, Renato Moicano seems to have changed his mindset about his next steps in the organization. Previously avoiding fights against unranked prospects for his redemption bout, the Brazilian is now willing to face whoever the UFC sends him.

Looking ahead to Nasrat Haqparast 's performance , which takes place this Saturday (25), at UFC 321, Moicano admitted that he will accept a potential challenge made by the fighter in case of victory. Directly from Afghanistan, the lightweight talent (up to 70,3kg) faces Quillan Salkilld.

"You know what I think? Nasrat (Haqparast) is going to win and then he's going to challenge me to a fight and I'm going to accept that," Moicano stated during a recording of the Show Me the Money Podcast.

Riding a five-fight winning streak in the organization, Nasrat is a veteran in the lightweight division and was signed in 2017. Since then, the Afghan has only lost to names like Marcin Held, in his debut, Drew Dober , Dan Hooker , and most recently Bobby Green . Known as Kelvin Gastelum 's 'twin brother' , Haqparast possesses an aggressive style in his octagon performances.

On the other hand, Moicano, 36, is looking to get closer to the title again after being defeated by Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush.
