Jacqueline Amorim She wants to prove she deserves a shot at the strawweight top 15 (up to 52,3 kg), but sees a silver lining if that doesn't happen yet. The jiu-jitsu specialist is enjoying a great run in the organization and, despite a four-fight win streak, is scheduled to face an unranked opponent at UFC 321. According to the Brazilian, the bout represents an opportunity to improve for when the time is right.
In a statement to UFC Brazil, Jaqueline reinforced her goal of entering the UFC rankings, but emphasized that she is still a young athlete and that the more fights she has outside the division's most competitive zone, the better prepared she will be for the future. However, she believes that a victory next Saturday could serve as a credential to enter the top 15.

"I'm coming off four wins. Obviously, my goal is to get into the rankings, but I'm also a very young fighter in the UFC. I think the more fights I have outside of the rankings, the better for me to gain experience. When I reach the rankings, I'll be much more ready. With a win this Saturday, I can prove that I'm ready to be a ranked fighter," she said. Jacqueline Amorim.
At 30, Jacqueline Amorim has 10 wins and only one loss in her career, precisely in her UFC debut. The American Top Team athlete is on an impressive run, with four consecutive victories, three by submission in the first round and one by technical knockout in the third.
The black belt will have the chance to extend her good run when she faces Japan's Mizuki Inoue at UFC 321, scheduled for next Saturday (25).
