Vinicius Lokdog has a strong opinion about Tom Aspinall 's withdrawal from UFC 321, held last Saturday (25). The Briton faced Ciryl Gane in the main event and ended up being hit by a finger in the eye , which forced him to abandon the fight, an attitude that generated controversy.

In a post on 'X' (formerly Twitter), Vinicius Lokdog revealed that he once fought with a broken rib. In the Brazilian's view, the fact that Tom Aspinall gave up fighting after being poked in the eye during a title fight proves that the Briton doesn't have the 'spirit of a samurai'.
“I once fought a Russian with a broken rib, and the guys who were fighting for the belt gave up because of a finger in the eye; they don’t have the samurai spirit,” wrote Lokdog.

At the start of the fight, Gane bounced on his toes, avoiding the British fighter's reach. Aspinall, in turn, used feints to get closer and land a decisive blow. In an attempt to close in on the champion, Gane landed a straight right hand that gave Aspinall a nosebleed.
In the final stretch of the round, the Frenchman used his speed to land jabs and move away before the Brit could respond. However, during one of these exchanges, Gane poked Aspinall in the eye. The referee immediately stopped the fight, and after a doctor's evaluation, the fight was officially declared a no-contest.
With this, Tom Aspinall retained the undisputed heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg), even without having won a title fight in his career. Ciryl Gane , in turn, once again fell short in his third attempt to take center stage in the division.
