Jon Jones didn't even need to fight to regain prominence in MMA. The UFC Hall of Famer is making the most of the turbulent moment in Tom Aspinall 's career . This is because last Saturday (25), in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the Englishman received an unintentional eye poke from Ciryl Gane and was unable to return to the fight, which ended in a no contest. Therefore, the American is using the incident to taunt his rival.

Last Wednesday (29), Jones arrived in style for the official weigh-in of 'Dirty Boxing 4'. Not content with being on horseback, the former UFC champion also put an eye patch on the animal, alluding to the Englishman.

It's worth noting that, after the fight against the Frenchman, Aspinall started wearing an eye mask, went to the hospital, and underwent a series of tests. Given his long-standing feud with the Frenchman, in which he refused to fight him in the UFC, announced his retirement from MMA, and vacated the undisputed heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg), Jones felt entitled to send him a veiled insult.

"We have a beautiful horse with an eye patch. We're having a good night," said the MMA legend.

New provocation

This wasn't the first provocation Jon Jones made after the fight between Tom Aspinall and Ciryl Gane ended in a no contest at UFC 321. Previously, the American had taken a jab at his rival by putting an eye patch on his social media avatar.
