Alex Poatan returned to training this Thursday (30) with an unusual partner: Mark Zuckerberg. In a video published on social media, the UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) appears training with the billionaire founder of Meta in the United States. It was the Brazilian's first training session since he regained the belt against Magomed Ankalaev, at the beginning of October.
In the footage, Poatan and Zuckerberg spar and compete for positions in jiu-jitsu. At one point, the businessman even attempts a triangle choke on the champion.

Mark Zuckerberg and the MMA
Zuckerberg's interest in MMA is nothing new. The executive is an avowed fan of the sport, has participated in jiu-jitsu competitions, and is a regular attendee at UFC events.
In 2023, he was even considered for an exhibition fight against Elon Musk, a plan that ultimately did not materialize.
