Lucas Mineiro is still full of energy in combat sports. The 36-year-old former UFC fighter made his boxing debut at Fight Music Show 7 and, after starting at a disadvantage, rallied, scored a knockdown against Bruno Nascimento, and had his arm raised at the end of six rounds.

With the victory, Lucas added a boxing win to his MMA record of 22 wins and seven losses, with four wins and three losses in the UFC. Bruno Nascimento, on the other hand, suffered another defeat, his eighth in 36 fights, 35 of which were in Muay Thai.

Bruno started the fight taking advantage of his reach, connecting with long jabs, while Lucas moved his head looking for openings to counter-attack. In the final stretch of the first round, the Muay Thai specialist cornered his rival against the ropes and landed a series of crosses, which were promptly returned by the former UFC fighter.

In the second round, Lucas tried to close the distance, but ended up being surprised by a strong counter punch that rocked him. Throughout the round, Bruno maintained control of the distance and managed his strikes well.

The third round began with Lucas insisting on seeking direct confrontation, while Bruno used his movement and reach to score points from a distance.

In the fourth round, the scenario changed. Lucas Mineiro finally achieved what he had been seeking from the beginning: he cornered Bruno against the ropes and maintained the pressure from start to finish.

In the fifth round, Lucas knew he needed to maintain the pace to go for the knockout—and that's what he did. The former UFC fighter stayed close to his opponent, countering every strike attempt with overhead crosses. In the final stretch, with Bruno cornered again, Lucas landed a powerful hook that sent his opponent to the ground, resulting in a knockdown.

Bruno returned to his feet after the referee's count, but the gong sounded immediately afterward, ending the round.

In the final round, both fighters knew exactly what they needed to do: Bruno sought to maintain distance, while Lucas continued to apply pressure. Despite the reach disadvantage, it was Lucas Mineiro who completed his mission, securing the victory in his boxing debut.
