Alex Poatan has had a busy schedule since knocking out Magomed Ankalaev last month and regaining the UFC light heavyweight title. After several international commitments around the world, the fighter returned to his country and made an appearance at the Brazilian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Poatan documented the moments inside the Sauber pits, the team of Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto, on his Instagram account. The UFC champion posed for photos with fans and signed several autographs.
It's worth noting that Sauber's main sponsor is Stake , a company that counts Poatan among its ambassadors.

Alex Poatan's next fight and third belt.
Alex Poatan regained the light heavyweight title (up to 93kg) by knocking out Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 320 on October 5th. After the victory, the Brazilian aimed for an unprecedented feat: moving up to the heavyweight division (up to 120kg) to face Jon Jones in a super fight at UFC White House , the residence of the President of the United States. The event is scheduled for June 2026.
If he manages to beat Jon Jones and then win the heavyweight title, Alex Poatan would become the first fighter to win the UFC title in three different weight classes.
