In October, in São Paulo, Acelino Popó announced his retirement from boxing. Since then, the former world champion has been considering potential opponents for his final fight in the ring. And, it seems, the Bahia native already has in mind who he wants as his final opponent in his career, and it's an old acquaintance.
Last Tuesday (11), on his official 'Instagram' account, Popó launched a friendly challenge for Whindersson Nunes . It is worth noting that the boxing icon faced the comedian in the first edition of Fight Music Show , held in 2022 and, on that occasion, the fight ended in a draw.

From then on, Whindersson developed a taste for the sport, began training constantly, and even started competing internationally. Years later, the veteran expressed his desire to face the man from Piauí, the only one he couldn't beat in the company's ring.
"It would be a good performance for my farewell, Whindersson," wrote Popó.
