The suffering was worth it.

Hours before the weigh-in, Tsarukyan was struggling to lose the last few pounds, raising doubts among fans about whether he would be able to reach the lightweight limit. Determined, the Armenian showed up at the ceremony and weighed in at 70,7 kg.

Hooker did well. Despite being bigger than his opponent, the New Zealander fought two grams shorter. The fight between these athletes is extremely important for the division, as the winner could then compete for the title.

Former welterweight champion Belal, like Hooker and Tsarukyan, was also one of the first to weigh in and hit the expected mark. The veteran came in at 77,5 kg.

Younger and bigger, Garry only showed up for the weigh-in later, but despite the mystery, everything went well. The Irishman weighed in at 77,1 kg. If he wins impressively, the athlete could be the first challenger for the belt of Islam makhachev.

Brazilian under pressure and feeling lighter

After three consecutive losses in the UFC, Rafael Cerqueira is looking for his first victory in the octagon. Despite the pressure, the Brazilian weighed in at 92,5 kg, meaning he is four grams lighter than Abdul-Rakhman Yakhyaev, his opponent, who is a newcomer and undefeated in MMA.
