“Look, it doesn’t depend on me. It depends on the doctors at this moment. I’m not allowed to do anything, so I’m just following their recommendations. The next step for me now is this conversation about eye surgery. We need to see how things go in the next few weeks. I’m not training at the gym right now, I’m not doing anything related to MMA,” the fighter stated in a video posted on his YouTube channel.

Although there is no official date set for his return to the octagon, the Englishman has promised a new version of his personality for when the time comes to come back.

“When I come back, there won’t be that nice guy anymore. The ‘good guy’ image, when it comes to MMA, is out of the question. I’m going to become a complete villain,” the champion stated.
