At the show, Pantoja could defend his flyweight title for the fifth time, while Merab seeks his fourth bantamweight title defense. It's worth noting that the Georgian, having cleared out his weight class, has already expressed interest in facing the veteran at 57 kg. However, the Brazilian, who has also been eliminating competition, avoids treating 'The Machine' as an opponent out of respect for Van and recognizing the danger he represents.
