Jean Silva continues his accelerated preparation for the biggest challenge of his career. Scheduled to face Arnold Allen at UFC 324, set for January 24th in Las Vegas (USA), the Brazilian has been focusing on specific training to further improve his stand-up game.
In recent days, the featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) fighter shared images on social media of an intense boxing session alongside Yuri Falcão, world vice-champion and Olympic athlete in the sport. The training session took place at the facilities of the Brazilian Boxing Confederation (CBBoxe) and drew attention for its intensity.
A member of the Fighting Nerds team, Jean sought to refine his movement, timing, and stamina through an exchange program with Olympic boxing. Yuri Falcão, who carries a traditional surname in the sport—nephew of medalists Esquiva and Yamaguchi Falcão—praised the UFC fighter's performance.
“Jean is preparing for this fight against Arnold Allen . It was six very intense rounds. He’s getting into the best possible shape. I’m looking forward to seeing him at UFC 324,” the boxer commented in an Instagram post.

Signed by the UFC in 2024, Jean Silva quickly carved out a space for himself in the organization. To date, he has accumulated five wins and one loss in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. His most recent defeat came against Diego Lopes , by technical knockout in the second round, at UFC Fight Night 259 in September in Texas (USA).
As a professional MMA fighter, the Santa Catarina native has accumulated 16 wins and three losses. His journey began in 2016 and took him through various national events until reaching Dana White's Contender Series in 2023. On that occasion, he defeated Kevin Vallejos by unanimous decision and secured his contract with the world's largest MMA organization.
His UFC debut took place in January 2024, with a dominant victory over Westin Wilson by technical knockout in the first round at UFC Fight Night 234.
Now, facing Arnold Allen , Jean Silva seeks not only to recover after his last setback, but also a performance that keeps him alive in the race for a spot among the top names in the featherweight division.
