Oleksiejczuk imposes a takedown game and controls Cesinha at UFC Vegas 112.
Cesinha started by using low and medium kicks, while extending his lead hand to maintain distance. However, in the second minute of the fight, just as the Brazilian was gaining confidence, the Pole closed the distance and took the fight to the ground. Strong on top, Oleksiejczuk managed to pass the guard and exert control, but without much action until the end of the round.
In the second round, the Brazilian returned more concerned with his opponent's takedowns. Cesinha moved forward without much exposure, but after landing a strong cross, he ended up being taken down. On the ground, the Polish fighter from Fighting Nerds had more advantages and controlled the fight until the end of the round.
Aware that they were losing, the Brazilian's coaches demanded more aggression to finish the match. In the first few minutes, Cesinha showed he was ready for it and landed a kick on the Pole's arms, who, in turn, didn't give him a chance and brought the Brazilian down.
After a period of inactivity and an illegal strike by Oleksiejczuk, the fight returned to standing, but it didn't last long. The Polish "Nerd" stuck to his plan, executed another takedown, and maintained control until the final moments of the fight.
At the end of the three rounds, the judges declared Cezary Oleksiejczuk the winner by unanimous decision.
