The defeat to Steven Asplund at UFC Vegas 112 left much more than just a stain on Sean Sharaf's record. Knocked out in the second round, the heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) left the world's most famous octagon with two deep wounds on his forehead and had to receive stitches. The video was released in the early hours of this Sunday (14) by none other than Dana White, CEO of the Ultimate.

In the video, it is possible to see the moment when the medical team examines the cuts and performs the suturing procedures. The injuries were caused by strong blows delivered by Asplund. clinch against the cage, moments before the technical knockout that marked the fighter's victory in his debut in the biggest MMA event on the planet.

This was Sean Sharaf's second loss in the UFC. He was signed as an undefeated fighter and debuted in the company last October, but has yet to secure his first victory. Previously, he had won the Lights Out Extreme Fighting event.
