Chris Eubank Jr. acknowledged Jake Paul's courage and performance in the ring . While some rejoiced at the American's defeat to Anthony Joshua at the Netflix event, Chris made a point of recognizing Jake's courage and performance.

Jake Paul didn't win , but Chris Eubank Jr., the International Boxing Organization (IBO) middleweight world champion, congratulated the influencer on the fight. Chris disagreed with those who downplayed the outcome of the bout.

“Regardless of the outcome, Jake Paul stepped into the ring with an Olympic gold medalist and former world heavyweight champion and gave his all until the end. This man deserves respect… he did what most would never do and didn’t give up. Congratulations, Jake,” said Chris Eubank Jr. on X, formerly Twitter.

Who is Chris Eubank Jr?

Chris Eubank Jr. is a British professional boxer. He has held the International Boxing Organization (IBO) middleweight title since 2024. Prior to that, Chris won the World Boxing Association (WBA) interim middleweight title twice, between 2015 and 2021.

Eubank Jr. was also a two-time IBO super middleweight champion, between 2017 and 2019. It's worth remembering that, at a regional level, Chris won the British middleweight title in 2016. He is the son of former two-division world boxing champion Chris Eubank.
