On the defensive, the celebrity landed only sporadic blows on Joshua before suffering a brutal knockout that shattered his jaw in two. But, according to Nakisa, Jake put on a good show and even won rounds in the fight.

“It was interesting. I didn’t see the official score, but I think he may have won one, two, or even three rounds. He was doing tremendously well against a much more skilled, much bigger, and stronger opponent. And he did it with only four weeks of preparation,” Jake’s manager said at the post-event press conference.

“Every time I talked about how dangerous this fight was or posted something saying that, no matter what happened, Jake had already won, the reaction was that I didn’t believe in my fighter. On the other hand, they said the event would be rigged if Jake won or wasn’t knocked out. In the end, Jake lasted much longer than anyone imagined,” he concluded.
