Johnny Walker has earned a new chance to move closer to the top of the UFC light heavyweight division (up to 93kg). After traveling to China and ending Mingyang Zhang 's hype in front of his home crowd, the Brazilian could return to the top 10 of the rankings if he defeats Dominick Reyes at UFC 327, scheduled for April 11, according to the MMA Mania website.
After a no-contest and two knockout losses, Johnny Walker entered UFC Shanghai as a huge underdog, with odds of 3,80 against the hometown fighter. However, the Brazilian surprised everyone by winning via technical knockout in the second round.

On the other side, Dominick Reyes was riding a three-fight knockout winning streak before being scheduled to face Carlos Ulberg in a fight that could determine the next challenger for the division's title. However, the American's winning streak came to an abrupt end with a first-round knockout loss.
Alex Poatan at UFC 327?
There is still little official information about UFC 327, but it has already been confirmed that the event will be held at the Kaseya Center in Miami. In addition to the Walker vs. Reyes fight, there is growing anticipation for Alex Poatan to headline the card. The Brazilian has publicly ruled out the possibility of fighting at UFC Casa Branca , scheduled for June, and continues to train normally, even during the holiday season.
Despite the rumors, Poatan still doesn't have a confirmed opponent for the date. Among fans, however, three possibilities stand out as favorites: a super fight against Jon Jones in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg), a duel with Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title – since there is no return date set for Tom Aspinall – or a confrontation against Carlos Ulberg in the light heavyweight category.
