Marcos Parrumpinha trusts Pantoja. The Brazilian coach of American Top Team (ATT) was candid in his response to a question via Instagram about how the year might go for him. Alexandre pantoja As a professional, the veteran detailed the former UFC champion's recovery and indicated when he believes he will be able to fight for the title again.

Parrumpinha answered the question via 'Stories' on his official Instagram profile. The coach was asked about the possibility of Pantoja regaining the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg) in 2026 and expressed optimism.

“Brother, for sure, (Alexandre) Pantoja has already started training, lightly so far, but he has already started training… his arm is still recovering, but for sure, brother, we are doing everything so that by the middle of the year we will have the belt again,” said Marcos Parrumpa da Matta in response to a 'story' on his Instagram account.

The athlete from the American Top Team (ATT) academy recently had a training video released.In the recording, the 35-year-old fighter can be seen performing a series of strength training exercises, aimed at strengthening his body and especially the area where he suffered the injury.

In the same post where the former flyweight champion appeared training, Alexandre left a message thanking his fans for their support, as well as updating them on his recovery.

"Thank you for all the messages of support, we are making great progress every day. Victory is being built every day. And I have to be better than I was yesterday. I am my only opponent. Gratitude to everyone," Alexandre wrote on Instagram.
