Valter Walker expressed confidence that he will maintain his perfect finishing streak at UFC Houston, scheduled for March 28, when he faces Marcin Tybura . A specialist in heel hooks, the Brazilian has four consecutive victories by this method and believes that, even with the chance to enter the top 10 of the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg), the outcome will not be different.
In a video posted on social media, Walker mocked Tybura for revealing the date of the fight in advance. The Brazilian fighter questioned his rival's attitude and stated that when the Pole gives up the fight, he will not release the submission, even making a provocation by comparing the situation to the folkloric legend of the Curupira.

"Why did you reveal our secret ahead of time? When you give the three taps, I won't let go, you'll turn into a Curupira," Valter Walker wrote in the caption.

After a disappointing debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Valter Walker bounced back and strung together four consecutive victories. All of his wins came via heel hook submission in the first round, a performance that propelled him to 14th place in the division's rankings.
On the other side of the fight, veteran Marcin Tybura has 14 wins and nine losses in the UFC. The Pole will have the chance to defend his position in the top 10 and recover from the devastating knockout he suffered against Ante Delija.
