Khabib Nurmagomedov 's moral compass transcended the MMA cage and reached the football field. Retired from MMA, the former UFC lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) shared photos on social media alongside great legends of world football, and as a big fan of the sport, he documented everything on social media.
In an Instagram post, Khabib appeared at a high-profile gathering alongside fighters Andrea Pirlo, Francesco Totti, Edgar Davids, David Trezeguet, Wesley Sneijder, and Christian Vieri. Excited, the former UFC champion Khabib described the reunion as "a legendary squad."

This isn't the first time Khabib Nurmagomedov has met with world football stars. At the end of 2025, the MMA legend and UFC Hall of Famer had already spent time with Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimović . During the meeting with Pogba and Ibrahimović, Khabib even had an arm wrestling match with the Swede.

During his time as a professional, the Russian recorded 29 wins and no losses, retiring undefeated.
'The Eagle' has been involved in memorable fights in UFC history, defeating names like Conor McGregor , Justin Gaethje , Rafael dos Anjos , Edson Barboza , and Dustin Poirier . Inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame on June 30, 2022, the 37-year-old Khabib is widely considered one of the greatest mixed martial arts fighters of all time.
