Kayla Harrison believes she can put a definitive end to Amanda Nunes ' career . Scheduled for the co-main event of UFC 324 on January 24th, the 'Lioness' returns from retirement already in contention for the bantamweight title (up to 61,2 kg). However, if it depends on her rival, the Brazilian is about to end her MMA career once again.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Kayla Harrison stated that she doesn't see Amanda Nunes returning to the sport after the fight. The judoka also made it clear that, while she's not opposed to a possible rematch, she believes the outcome of the duel will be enough to push the former champion back into retirement.

“I don’t think she’ll come back after what I’m going to do to her on January 24th. I’d accept a rematch, but I’m going to send her back into retirement,” said Kayla Harrison.

Brazil in the UFC 324 octagon

Besides Amanda Nunes in the co-main event, Brazil will be heavily represented in the UFC 324 octagon. On the main card, Jean Silva faces Arnold Allen in a fight that could bring him closer to the top 5 of the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg). On the preliminary card, Nathalia Silva takes on Rose Namajunas , while Deiveson Figueiredo faces Umar Nurmagomedov in another high-level duel.
