Arman Tsarukyan provoked Paddy Pimblett . The 29-year-old Armenian said in a recent interview that the UFC is trying to "turn" the Englishman into a champion. Tsarukyan also stated that he is "a nightmare" for Pimblett.
In an interview with the American website 'MMA Junkie', Arman Tsarukyan didn't mince words when commenting on the interim lightweight title fight (up to 70,3 kg) at UFC 324. Tsarukyan took the opportunity to taunt Englishman Paddy Pimblett , stating that he would lose if the two fought.
“Everyone knows they’re trying to keep Paddy Pimblett . They want to make him champion. It’s his (Pimblett’s) chance, and they know that if they put me against him, he’ll lose and his star will fade. Gaethje is easy money for them… That’s why they even gave him a shot at the interim title, because he’s not even going to be a real champion. There’s Ilia Topuria , and he can’t even beat Ilia Topuria . I’m a nightmare for him, and he knows that if we fight, he’ll lose. He’ll try not to fight me for the rest of his life,” Arman Tsarukyan told the American website 'MMA Junkie'.
