On his official account on 'X', Serrano made a point of explaining that he offered himself to fight 'The Lioness' only because he admires her and denied having any intention of provoking her. Immediately after the boxer requested the fight on UFC 324Many fans claimed she was disrespectful, since she had never been part of the company and had only fought three times in MMA.
Determined to end the controversy, the Puerto Rican praised the Brazilian and emphasized that she has always sought great challenges in her career in combat sports. Nevertheless, despite the boxer's attempt, the UFC decided to reschedule the fight between Kayla and Amanda.

Amanda Serrano, 37, is a boxing star and veteran of combat sports. Competing in the sport since 2009, the Puerto Rican has amassed numerous titles. In her career, 'The Real Deal' has won 47 fights, lost four, and drawn once. And it doesn't stop there.
The athlete also competed in MMA and grappling and never lost. In mixed martial arts, Amanda has two wins and one draw, and in grappling, she holds a number of victories.
