Paulo Borrachinha , ranked 13th in the UFC middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), has announced that he no longer wants to play games. The Brazilian, known for sharing content of all kinds on social media, including controversial material, has, according to journalist Laerte Viana, a fight scheduled against Azamat Murzakanov in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg) at UFC 327 on April 11th in Miami (USA).

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the 34-year-old fighter posted the message: 'enough with the jokes'. Although he didn't provide context, the phrase suggests that Borrachinha will maintain total focus on his challenge in the new weight class.

Paulo Borrachinha had a scheduled fight against Brunno Hulk in the middleweight division at UFC 326, set for March 7th in Las Vegas (USA), the same night that Max Holloway and Charles do Bronx would compete for the symbolic 'BMF' belt. However, without an official reason being given, the Brazilian was ultimately removed from the fight.

Less than a month after being dropped from the fight against Hulk, Borrachinha has been linked to a possible new bout in the UFC. This time, the fighter from Minas Gerais has been linked to a light heavyweight bout against the undefeated Murzakanov, who has 12 knockout victories in 16 career fights.

The Brazilian began his professional MMA career in 2012. Since then, he has accumulated 15 wins and four losses in his record. His journey in the UFC began with a victory over Garreth McLellan via technical knockout in the first round of UFC Fight Night 106 in March 2017 in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Borrachinha's last fight for the organization was against Roman Kopylov , where the Brazilian won via unanimous decision at UFC 318 in July 2025 in New Orleans (USA).
