Chris Cyborg She's hungry for a fight and going full steam ahead at the start of the season. Right in the first month of 2026, the PFL featherweight champion (up to 65,8 kg) took advantage of the injury of... Kayla harrison and expressed interest in facing Amanda nunes again, in UFC 324On January 24th, in Las Vegas (USA), she also challenged Dakota Ditcheva, a muse of the 'Professional Fighters League', to a duel. Seeking grand battles, the Brazilian reiterated her desire to face the English fighter.

After being challenged, Ditcheva expressed surprise at the veteran's stance, downplayed her interest in the fight, and stated that it would only be a success because she was involved, questioning the importance of the fight and its commercial appeal. However, the athlete, who excels in the flyweight division (up to 57 kg), indicated that if Cyborg managed to lose weight to compete in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg), the fight could become a reality.

Without wasting any time, Cyborg intensified her campaign to convince the athlete to accept the duel and assured her that, despite her advanced age for competition, the weight cut wouldn't be a problem, especially since she wants to look good on the scale in her last MMA appearance. Interestingly, the Brazilian has never fought in the bantamweight division. Excited, the veteran treated the clash with Dakota as a super fight, not just in the PFL.

“Superfights require two people. I can make 61 kg for a superfight in the fall. If that’s the fight you want… There’s no bigger fight the PFL can organize for either of us. I’m 40 years old and my body has much less muscle mass than when I fought to make 63,5 kg. I won’t fail to make weight in my farewell fight. It’s the biggest fight that can happen. A fight of legends,” wrote the PFL champion on her official account on 'X'.
