Jean Silva has already defined what he considers to be the ideal next step in his career if he emerges victorious at UFC 324, scheduled for next Saturday (24). Representing Fighting Nerds, the Brazilian is scheduled for the main card of the event that inaugurates the billion-dollar partnership between Ultimate and Paramount+, where he faces Arnold Allen . Despite the immediate commitment, the fighter is already planning for the future and does not hide his interest in a rematch against Diego Lopes , who returns to the octagon the following week, at UFC 325.
During UFC 324 Media Day, Jean Silva highlighted the importance of the promotional aspect for a fight. According to him, the greater the publicity and engagement, the greater the impact of the event, and for this reason, 'Lord' prefers to face Diego Lopes , especially because of their history.

"The more promotion we can get around this, the more it sells, the better it gets. So I'm almost certain that all of you out there, fans, viewers, everyone who watches CBS, would love to see me face Diego," said Jean Silva . If the rematch with Diego Lopez comes to fruition, Jean Silva ...
Thinking about a rematch against Diego Lopes , Jean Silva also pointed out lessons learned from their first duel. The athlete stated that he has come to value his corner's guidance even more, acknowledging that this was a determining factor after the previous defeat and something he intends to correct if the rematch actually happens.
“I’ve learned that I need to listen to advice from my corner. I’m sure you all know that by now,” concluded the Fighting Nerds representative.
Jean Silva believes he can challenge Diego Lopes for the UFC title.
During a live stream on his YouTube channel, Jean Silva explained that his anxiety for UFC 324 doesn't stem from the fight itself, but from the perception that the UFC sees him as a future champion. The Fighting Nerds representative imagines a scenario where he defeats Arnold Allen by knockout and that, certainly, his next fight will be for the title.
“I’m nervous, and it’s not even about my fight. It’s that the path is very clear: the UFC wants me to be champion. Because, man, I knocked out Arnold Allen … and tell me, what’s the next step? Especially if Diego wins the belt,” said Jean Silva.
