After making his mark leading the UFC, Dana White wants to do the same in boxing. And the president of the world's largest MMA organization has arrived in the traditional sport with a bang. Last Wednesday (21), in Las Vegas (USA), at the press conference to promote the first 'Zuffa Boxing' event, the professional confirmed his interest in a major signing.

When questioned by a journalist about the rumor that Oleksandr Usyk has already joined his new company, Dana White fueled the speculation. The UFC president didn't confirm the deal, but made it clear that the heavyweight world champion is on his shortlist.

And the professional's interest is extremely valid. The Ukrainian is a star of the noble art, considered by many to be one of the best boxers today, and he is undefeated in the ring. Excited about the new venture, Dana warned that he's not only eyeing Usyk.

“We are talking to everyone we consider the most talented in the world, or who have the potential to become the most talented. If you look at our history in the UFC, it’s the same thing in boxing. I want to sign anyone we think could be the best in the world, or who already is the best in the world. That’s it, and we want to promote the best fights we can,” said the executive.
