Jean Silva demonstrates complete confidence in his team for UFC 324. Scheduled to face Arnold Allen in the opening fight of the main card, the Brazilian acknowledged the trajectory and quality of his opponent's team, but made it clear that he believes he has an advantage in the work done by his corner.

Analyzing his rival, Jean Silva recalled that Allen was already part of the UFC roster when he was still taking his first steps in professional MMA, highlighting the experience of the Briton and his coach Firas Zahabi, who has trained big names like George St-Pierre. Even so, he made a point of praising his own team, citing Pablo Sucupira, Flávio Álvaro, Éder Gama, Ivan Jatobá, and his fiancée, Carol Castro, as fundamental pieces in his preparation.

“When I made my professional debut, he was already on the UFC roster, already fighting for his title within the organization, and he’s a guy who came close to the title… He’s an experienced guy, nurtured by a very intelligent team. His coach, Zahabi, was St-Pierre’s coach. But back then, you see Pablo Sucupira, you see Flávio Álvaro, Éder Gama, Ivan Jatobá, you see Carol. All of them are my coaches. They are the coaches of the next world champion, and I’m taking this issue to them to resolve,” said Jean Silva , in an interview with 'UFC Brasil'.

During a live stream on his YouTube channel, Jean Silva explained that his anxiety for UFC 324 doesn't stem from the fight itself, but from the perception that the UFC sees him as a future champion. The Fighting Nerds representative imagines a scenario where he defeats Arnold Allen by knockout and that, certainly, his next fight will be for the title.

“I’m nervous, and it’s not even about my fight. It’s that the path is very clear: the UFC wants me to be champion. Because, man, I knocked out Arnold Allen … and tell me, what’s the next step? Especially if Diego wins the belt,” said Jean Silva.
