A fight between McGregor and Michael Chandler has been speculated for a long time. The two were coaches on the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter in 2023. A fight was officially announced as the main event of UFC 303. However, the Irishman fractured the little toe on his left foot and was unable to attend. Since then, there has been no official date set for his return.
