Another setback! UFC 324 loses a fight hours before the event.

UFC 324, the organization's first event in 2026, continues to lose fights. Now, the fight between veterans Alexander Hernandez and Michael Johnson , which was to be valid for the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), was canceled hours before the show was to be held this Saturday (24), in Las Vegas (USA). The company itself made the announcement through its official website.

There is still no information about the reason for the cancellation of the fight. Now, UFC 324 has 11 fights in total, with five on the main card and six on the preliminary card.

It is worth highlighting that, previously, Kayla Harisson, bantamweight champion (up to 61,2 kg), withdrew from the super fight against Amanda Nunes due to a serious neck injury and, last Friday (23), during the official weigh-in, Cameron Smotherman felt unwell, fainted and was removed from the duel with Ricky Turcios.

And the damage could have been worse, since Alex Perez and Deiveson Figueiredo failed to make weight. However, Charles Johnson and Umar Nurmagomedov , respectively, agreed to remain on the card and fight at a catchweight.

Bantamweight (up to 61,2 kg): Sean O'Malley vs. Song Yadong

Heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg): Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Derrick Lewis

Featherweight (up to 65,8 kg): Arnold Allen vs. Jean Silva
