Ilia Topuria had his eye on the fight that would determine his next opponent. With Justin Gaethje 's victory over Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324, an event that took place last Saturday (24) in Las Vegas (USA), the current undisputed lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) is expected to face the American in the coming months, however, before the fight was scheduled, the Georgian-Spanish fighter did not miss the opportunity to provoke both athletes.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Topuria called Pimblett a "Little Sausage," and also taunted the Englishman, saying that with the defeat, the fighter lost a significant financial opportunity for his career. The Georgian-Spanish fighter also provoked Gaethje, saying that he is "screwed" for the title unification fight.

“Little sausage, all you had to do was beat a 38-year-old guy. You just lost the biggest payday of your life. You would have been rich if you had won. Justin, all I can say is congratulations… and I’d like to tell you to get ready, but you’re screwed either way,” Topuria said on his X account, formerly Twitter.
