After hearing a lot of Paddy Pimblettthe time has come to Justin gaethje to carry out his long-awaited collection. In the main fight of UFC 324which took place last Saturday (24), in Las Vegas (USA), the American punished 'The Baddy', won by unanimous decision and became interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) for the second time. Happy with the triumph, the veteran mocked the English star.
At the post-UFC 324Gaethje provoked, stressing that Paddy has a lot to learn from the tough defeat he suffered. Before the fight, the Englishman was considered the overwhelming favorite to win, promising to give the veteran a beating and stating that he would leave the octagon disfigured. However, what was seen in action was quite the opposite.

In the striking exchanges, the American punished 'The Baddy' so severely that he scored two knockdowns and constantly rocked him. Gaethje, who shone in the fight, pointed out that Pimblett's arrogance made him pay dearly. With this result, the veteran will compete for the undisputed title in the division for the third time, while the Englishman lost his undefeated record in the UFC.
“I loved teaching him a lesson. He said my face wouldn’t be the same after the fight, while his would be exactly the same. As soon as it was over, I thought, ‘Look at your face, it’s not the same.’ He needs to learn from that, he can’t fight with that mentality. He needs to accept the worst possible outcome. That’s how you perform best when the pressure is at its maximum. I learned that early on. It’s such an unpredictable sport, anything can happen at any moment,” said the interim UFC champion.
“He needs to learn these lessons. His mindset before the fight wasn't good. You can't go in like that. False confidence is terrible and always ends up ruining you. That's what he had. To say that this would be exactly the same fight as the one against Chandler was crazy. I thought, 'Thank God he's thinking like that.' I said in the press conference that I loved everything that came out of his mouth, because you can't approach this sport that way. He's going to learn,” he concluded.
