It's no secret that Dana White is keeping information about the highly anticipated and unique UFC event at the White House under tight wraps. In fact, last Saturday (24), in Las Vegas (USA), the organization president's caution caused unease at the post-event press conference.UFC 324.
It all started when a journalist asked Dana White how the fight card would be structured and if the show would feature a "festival of title fights." Short and to the point, the UFC president stressed that he never gave details regarding the event's setup, much less the selection of the fights. Therefore, the company president, irritated, dodged the question about the number of title fights on the card.
“Did I say that? Oh, who said that? Where did you see that? It seems legitimate. I literally didn’t say anything about the White House and we’re not talking about it, nor thinking about it,” said the UFC president.
Trump started the rumor.
It's worth highlighting that it was Donald Trump, the President of the United States, who announced that UFC White House would feature eight or nine title fights. And it didn't stop there. Jon Anik, the official commentator for the world's largest MMA organization, revealed his hope that the show would have six or seven title fights.
