Carlos Prates may be close to having his next fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) confirmed. After knocking out Leon Edwards at UFC 322, the Brazilian established himself as one of the top names in the welterweight division (up to 77kg) and now stands out as a possible opponent for another former champion in the quest for his long-awaited title shot.
In an interview with 'Submission Radio', Ben Vickers, Jack Della Maddalena 's coach , revealed that the team is working with the possibility of the athlete's return between April and May. According to the coach, Carlos Prates ' name is among those being considered for the matchup, although other options are also being analyzed. Still without a signed contract, talks are ongoing, with a preference for a matchup against a striker.
