This Saturday (31), in Australia, Alexander Volkanovsky e Diego lopes make the main fight of the UFC 325, which is for the featherweight title (up to 65,8 kg). And, to promote the rematch and the company's second numbered event in a row, the champion of the category and the title challenger faced off for the traditional staredown.

And, unlike what happened in April, the moment was tense. It's true that Diego and Volkanovski are rivals who respect each other and exchange compliments. But, during the face-off, the pair put their good relationship aside.

The fighters had serious expressions, stared intently at each other without blinking, and remained silent for what seemed like endless seconds. At the end of the face-off, Diego and Volkanovski displayed their well-known sportsmanship, smiling and shaking hands.

Volkanovski's victory

In their first fight, held in April, Diego challenged Volkanovski for the vacant title in his weight class. In the octagon, the Brazilian even startled 'The Great' at times, but he was ultimately controlled and lost by unanimous decision. Now, the athlete will face the Australian for a rematch.
