Known for his violence in the octagon, Jean Silva has shown an emotional side. And, last Saturday (24), the bad boy's sensitivity was on full display. After beating Arnold Allen at UFC 324, an event held in Las Vegas (USA), the athlete couldn't hold back his tears, but those who thought the reason was just his recovery in the company were wrong. On the contrary, the biggest reason has a name: Carolina de Castro.

In the post-UFC 324 press conference, when asked by a journalist about the importance of his wife in his career, Jean opened his heart and made a point of expressing all his admiration, love, and respect. It's worth noting that Carolina accompanies the athlete during fight week to all his commitments with the organization and also in the octagon, as a true member of the 'Fighting Nerds' academy. Happy to have his partner nearby, 'Lord' once again declared his love for the woman who, according to him, saved him and gave new meaning to his life.

"It's just a husband in love with his wife, seeing her living his dream as if it were her only dream. So, if you ever stop to listen to our story, you'll understand why my team supports her so much and accepts her being by my side," said the fighter.

"Because it's difficult to see a woman working with her husband in an environment like that. And Carol, this week, for those who know her, ceases to be just my wife. I love her to death!", he concluded.

Jean Silva , 29, began his MMA career in 2016 and debuted in the UFC in 2024. In the sport's largest organization, the Brazilian has fought seven times, winning six, losing one, and earning four bonuses. Currently, the "bad boy" is ranked sixth in the featherweight division. His main victories were over Arnold Allen , Bryce Mitchell , and Drew Dober.
