Change on the horizon? Mauricio Ruffy discusses his training outside of Fighting Nerds and assures: 'I've never trained so much'

In a video posted on the 'UFC Brasil' channel, Ruffy shared that he is excited to fight Fiziev on Saturday and that he was well received by the Freestyle MMA academy, where Volkanovski trains.

“I came here to Freestyle MMA to train with the guys and I was super well received. We're doing very well and super excited to perform,” the Brazilian told the UFC channel.

During the video, the Brazilian is also seen talking to the featherweight champion. Throughout the dialogue, Volkanovski asked about Ruffy's training camp, if he was enjoying it, and if he felt in shape for the fight. In response to the Australian, the fighter from Alagoas said: "Very fit. I've never trained so hard in my life."
