Despite registering record audienceThe first UFC broadcast in the Paramount+ era generated negative feedback among fans. During the event, social media was flooded with criticism of the excessive advertising and the long wait between fights. However, these problems are not expected to repeat themselves, according to Zach Candito, executive and coordinator of live productions at the UFC.
In a social media post, Zach Candito explained that the broadcast was just a premiere and that adjustments are still being made. He emphasized that the delay in starting the event shouldn't become the norm, reinforcing that the idea was to test special formats. According to him, starting next week the programming will begin earlier, ensuring that the situation is under control.

“It’s just a premiere show, there’s still a lot to adjust at UFC. Don’t expect the new standard to be starting 30 minutes late. We’re just trying to do some special things. Next week, it will be at least 10 minutes earlier. It’s all good. It’s all good,” wrote the UFC executive.
Dana White explains the reason for so many announcements during the UFC 324 broadcast.

In the press conference following the event, Dana White stated that he hadn't yet watched the broadcast closely and highlighted that the new model is still undergoing adjustments. He also emphasized that the subscription price is affordable and that advertising is part of the business's commercial dynamics, as everyone involved needs to be compensated.
“I haven’t seen it yet and everything is still being adjusted… It’s $8,99. You’re not paying that much extra; these guys need to make money too,” said Dana White.
