Ultimate returns to Australia this Saturday (31) for the event UFC 325, in Sydney. The main attraction of the event will be the rematch for the featherweight title (up to 65,7 kg) between Alexander Volkanovsky e Diego lopesIn a rematch that re-enacts the duel seen at event number 314, when the Australian regained the title via unanimous decision. The fact that the card is headlined by a featherweight reinforces a historical point for the division in the organization.
According to the official UFC website, this will be the 16th time the featherweight has headlined a numbered UFC card in a title fight. Furthermore, all 21 featherweight title fights in the organization's history have featured a numbered title fighter. José Aldo, Max Holloway ou Alexander Volkanovsky on at least one side of the octagon, demonstrating significant generational dominance in the division.
